It was all things bright and beautiful at a flower festival which took place in West Norfolk.

Upwell St Peter church held its 64th flower festival last weekend.

The three-day event began last Friday with a musical evening which featured folk singer Katie Macer.

Organiser Ros Shorting, said: “The theme was All Things Bright and Beautiful after the hymn. There was a steady trickle of people coming into the church, although it was quiet on Sunday when the football was on.

“We will be planning to celebrate next year with it being the 65th festival.”

The floral displays which filled the church were made by individuals and groups including Scouts, Beavers and also the Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
