Actress Victoria Bush is set to return to her roots.

A television star is returning to her home town of King’s Lynn for this year’s festive pantomime.

Victoria Bush, known for her role as school secretary Sonya Donnegan in BBC One’s Waterloo Road, will play evil Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at the Corn Exchange in Lynn.

It will be the first time for the 40-year-old, who was born and raised in Lynn, to play a panto baddie. 

The actress is also known for ITV’s Bad Girls where she played Tina O’Kane for five series.

The actress has also appeared on TV shows Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, The All-Star Talent Show and Children in Need.

Olivia Arnold has been cast as Princess Belle, Sleeping Beauty. 

The actresses will be joined by Ian Marr, Scott Cripps, Charles Dennett and Olivia Arnold.

Making a welcome return to the Corn Exchange are panto favourites Ian Marr as Dame Nellie Night Nurse and Scott Cripps as Chester the Jester.

Also returning to the Corn Exchange for a third appearance is KLFM’s Charles Dennett, known as Posh Charles. 

Sleeping Beauty is at the Lynn Corn Exchange from Friday, December 7 to Monday, December 31.
