Many parents would say the best gifts are the handmade ones from their children.

So no doubt there were many happy dads, grandads and  loved ones who would’ve received a special creation on Father’s Day from youngsters who attended a special workshop.

Held in King’s Lynn’s town centre on Saturday, the free event was packed with children busy making gifts in time for Father’s Day.

David Blackmore, marketing and events assistant at the Vancouver Quarter, which organised the event said some wonderful creations were made.

“It was a busy session and we were delighted to welcome members, new faces and new friends to the popular club,” he said.

“The Saturday Clubs are really popular and everything is free so it’s a brilliant way to have some fun in the town centre and make new friends.”

Saturday Club runs throughout  the year at the Vancouver Quarter and is free for children to join and everything the members need to create something is provided.
