School pupils across West Norfolk got into the spirit of the Royal Wedding by dressing-up to celebrate Harry and Meghan’s big day.

Ingoldisthorpe Primary even had their very own lookalikes taking part in a pretend ceremony at the local church, with full wedding attire and Hula Hoop crisps acting as wedding rings.

Headteacher Sean Wright said: “The children were over the moon. It was nice for them all to dress-up and get into the spirit of the Royal Wedding.”

The school held a vote to decide who would play Harry and Meghan for the day.

Pupils from Terrington St John Primary School staged a mock wedding to celebrate the marriage of Harry and Meghan.

Four-year-olds Mia-Rose Whiting and Mason Howlett-Smith from reception were the bride and groom. Pupils dressed in red, white and blue and enjoyed a picnic on the school field to celebrate the big day.
