The Met Office has issued another amber weather warning for snow in West Norfolk.
The warning, the second highest alert, is from 10:40am until 4pm.
The Met Office said: “Frequent heavy snow showers will continue for much of today.
“Travel delays on roads are very likely, with snow perhaps leading to some stranded vehicles and passengers; delays or cancellations to rail and air travel are also likely.
“Some rural communities could become cut off briefly.
“Power cuts may also occur and other services, such as mobile phones, may be affected.”
Meanwhile King’s Lynn Police has urged residents not to travel unless necessary.
Have to leave your vehicle? Please ensure it’s left in a safe position and doesn’t cause any obstructions.
Stay home unless your journey is absolutely necessary so the roads are clearer for officers to reach those who need our assistance. #norfolkroads #drivesafe— King’s Lynn Police (@KingsLynnPolice) February 28, 2018
Roads blocked A11 (Thetford to Norwich), A47 (eastbound and westbound, particularly around Norwich) and A140 (both directions in and out of Norwich). We are doing all we can to get routes cleared but please don’t make journeys unless absolutely necessary. #norfolkroads #drivesafe
