The Duke of York enjoyed a morning chatting to King’s Lynn businesses at the same time as his daughter’s engagement was announced.

His Royal Highness took a tour of King’s Lynn Innovation Centre (KLIC) this morning (Monday January 22).

The Duke is a keen supporter of entrepreneurship and works to support and raise the profile of start-up businesses and it was his second trip to the KLIC, which opened in June 2016, having visited last year.

Enterprise Agency Nwes supports new and growing businesses in West Norfolk there.

While chatting to businesses based in the building The Duke’s official twitter feed posted: “The Duke and Duchess of York are delighted to announce the engagement of Princess Eugenie to Mr Jack Brooksbank.”

The couple got engaged in Nicaragua earlier this month and the wedding is set to take place in the Autumn at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
