Pupil’s at Nelson Academy in Downham Market took to the stage for their annual Christmas play.

Pupils in year one and year two told the story of the traditional nativity with a twist.

More than 100 children were involved and every member of year two had a part to play and lines to read.

Year two teacher and lead for drama Megan Abbott said: “They did really well. They all learnt their lines off by heart. The parents really enjoyed it too. They were a big help in ensuring the children learnt their lines and had their costumes ready.”
