KES student Harry Chandler presents a cheque to Jessica Walker of Tapping House.

Students from King Edward VII Academy in King’s Lynn raised more than £339 with a festive concert.

The money has been presented to The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, based in Hillington.

Year 11 student Harry Chandler nominated the charity after it gave his family care and support and the concert was dedicated to the memory of his granddad.

The money was raised by ticket sales, refreshments, a raffle and donations. The concert saw more than 50 music and drama students from years seven to 11 take part.

It was compered by sixth-formers Isobel Mitchell and Harvey Luker.
