Puppetry action for a festive showing of The Selfish Giant at West Acre Theatre.

The tale of Oscar Wilde’s The Selfish Giant will be the seasonal production at West Acre Theatre.

The curtain will rise on the live action which will feature puppets and music on Saturday, December 16.

The giant has been saved by a simple act of kindness in this story which has been enjoyed by generations of children and stood the test of time.

None of its original meaning has been lost in a new version,

The giant believes that happiness is watered-down when he shares so he keeps everything for himself.

But of course, one of life’s lessons is that real happiness has to be shared.

This heart-warming seasonal show will appeal to all the family.

The Westacre Theatre Company production will run until the end of the year with performances in the afternoons,  tea times and evenings.
