Pupils at West Lynn Primary School enjoyed a spooktacular time at art club.

Children in the after school club took part in a Halloween- themed painting session.

Each pupil created a painting of a pair of witch’s legs on a colourful background.

School secretary Heather Moore said they had a wonderful time at the art club, which has gone from strength to strength.

She said: “It is now in its second year and it is always full. It is so popular.

“We have other after school clubs, such as sports ones, so we thought it was time to devote something to the arts.

“They are a very talented bunch.”

There are 16 pupils in the art club from a range of age groups.

Mrs Moore added that teacher Anne Dale, who leads the group, often gave pupils a theme and some direction then youngsters were left to use their creative skills.
