A trophy which football fans across the country would love to get their hands on was in a West Norfolk primary school yesterday.

Hunstanton Primary School pupils won the chance to host the Premier League trophy after a parent registered the school for  the Premier League Stars programme.

The programme aims to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills through a range of school resources.

The trophy was last awarded to Chelsea FC when they won the 2016/17 Premiere League season.

Helen Winnington, the school’s PE co-ordinator, said: “The children had such a fantastic morning. They were so excited and really enthusiastic about the  visit.

“A big thank you goes to the Premier League and Norwich City Football Club for organising it.”
