The sixth Docking Hare Fair takes place next Saturday, September 23, from 10am to 4pm.
Based in St Mary’s Church, the fair is a showcase for some of the talented local crafts and artists.
The church will be turned into a market for the day with stalls selling fabrics, jewellery, metalwork, wooden goods and food.
Local artists will display their work in the Lady Chapel and there will be music, refreshments, cakes, lunches and a barbecue.
This year, the organisers will welcome back Martin Hayward Smith, a wildlife photographer, film-maker and author.
There will also be extra fun and games with the Docking Cubs and Scouts.
Visitors will also be able to browse the book stall, plants stall and there will be a raffle.
Admission is free. Visitors will be able to see plaques in the church in memory of members of the local Hare family, who have played an important part in the life of both the church and the village for more than four hundred years.
