King’s Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place will be filled with hundreds of Minis on Sunday for the town’s first Mini Meet.

From 10am to 3pm owners and fans of the iconic car can enjoy a free family day out.

Almost 200 Minis, both modern and vintage, are expected to line up.

The market place will also be filled with entertainment. Local band The Fascinettes will perform Motown classics, and a DJ will be on stage during the day. Refreshments and a bar will be available.

Brian Long, leader of West Norfolk council, said: “We’re expecting a great range of Minis – the judges are going to have a difficult job.”

Trophies will be presented to the owners of the Minis that have been awarded Judges’ Choice and the People’s Favourite.
