Trinity Rotary Club president Bob Foster, third left, presents the cheque to Paul Strutt of NARS with club members Peter Harris, left, and Peter Lambert, right.

Members of Trinity Rotary Club in King’s Lynn have donated £500 to a life-saving charity.

President Bob Foster made the presentation to NARS (Norfolk Accident Rescue Service) after hearing more about its work.

Paul Strutt, communications and fundraising officers champion at NARS, gave a presentation to the club about the charity, which sees volunteer doctors and paramedics give life-saving care in emergencies.

The volunteers give up their spare time and undertake additional training for the role.

Mr Strutt learned NARS had once saved the life of a club member following a serious road collision.

The £500 cheque was presented following the NARS presentation last Thursday.
