A POPULAR Easter egg hunt has raised £3,000 for the life-saving East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The event, held at Sandringham for a second year, was organised by King’s Lynn Priory Rotary Club.

Priory president John Mansfield said the air ambulance was one of the club’s top causes to support. Crews responded to 2,361 incidents last year, but members heard £11m was needed to keep the operation running all year round. The service relies entirely on donations from organisations such as Rotary.

The cheque was presented to the charity’s area fundraising manager, Chris Donaldson.
