A BUSINESS owner has boosted the coffers of this year’s Festival Too with a stunning fashion show at an upmarket eatery.

King’s Lynn businesswoman, Bridget Nurse, brought a catwalk extravaganza with a difference to the Bank House in King’s Staithe Square on Wednesday night to a sold-out 78-strong audience.

Ticket sales for the £25-a-head dinner and fashion show, raffle for champagne and styling and tombola prizes looks set to raise around £2,000 for this summer’s event.

Chrissi Rix of the Style Show, a styling company that sells clothes with the individual’s style in mind, brought six models to the restaurant for her Fashion Show with a Difference,  revealing that these were “real women representing different body shapes, ages and colourings from size 8 to 16”, modelling 36 outfits in total.

Afterwards there was an opportunity for the viewing audience to shop, and they were also given a styling and shopping voucher to visit the Style Show in Norwich, as a thank you for supporting Festival Too.

Bank House  owners, Anthony and Jeanette Goodrich provided the restaurant free for the evening.
