STAFF from five King’s Lynn businesses made sure they didn’t have egg on their faces on Tuesday.

Teams from Wilko, Primark, Studio 20a, Ward Gethin Archer and Boots battled for honours in the second round of the annual  Vancouver Quarter Business Challenge.

The three-legged egg and spoon races were held over a short course in St Dominic’s Square.

The challengers put on an egg-cellent show with Wilko taking the honours ahead of Primark in the final.

Design agency Studio 20a and solicitors Ward Gethin Archer came third and fourth respectively, with Boots completing the line up.

“It was a good fun event and a very big thank you goes to all who took part in the challenge. There was also quite a number of people watching and it is always nice to raise a smile,” said Vancouver Quarter marketing and events assistant David Blackmore.

The first event of 2017 was a pancake race in February and the next challenge will be a beat-the-goalie competition in July followed by a mystery event in October.
