MEMBERS of West Norfolk Artists’ Association will stage their spring exhibition next week.

Now in its 16th year, the association has more than 130 artists, drawn from all across the west of the county and further afield.

Members hold three exhibitions a year and also monthly meetings where they get together to sketch and exchange ideas.

A spokesman for the association said: “With such a wide membership, we are able to reflect so many different talents, from painting to sculpture, textiles to mosaics and from photography to installations.

“Visitors to the exhibitions are surprised and delighted with the variety of artwork on display, both contemporary and traditional, and often join the association after a visit to an exhibition.” New members are also welcome.

The exhibition will be the third coast-themed display and will be held at Thornham Village Hall from Friday, April 14 to Monday, April 17.

Admission will be free and the exhibition, entitled Coast III, will be open from 10am to 5pm

The coastal theme has inspired members to create more than 100 works for sale.
