EASTER FUN: A look back at some of the craft fun in the Vancouver Quarter last year

THE Vancouver Quarter in King’s Lynn will host a variety of free activities this Easter.

The family friendly fun will start with a special spring-themed workshop on Thursday, April 6 from 10am to 3pm.

Children can make butterflies and plant sunflowers to take home. No need to book, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

The shopping centre’s Saturday Club will return on April 8 and the Fairyland Trust will be on hand to help children make their own miniature garden to take home and plant.

Families will also learn the folklore behind the fairy flowers. The workshop sessions will last 45 minutes and include a storytelling performance. Booking is essential via the Vancouver Quarter website.

Thursday, April 13 will see Easter bonnets and baskets workshops with sessions at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm and an Easter Egg Trail on Saturday, April 15 between 1pm and 5pm with the chance to win £250 worth of shopping vouchers.

Abbie Panks, Vancouver Quarter centre manager, said the spring-themed and bonnets and baskets workshops as well as the Saturday Club will be held opposite Wilko at 27 New Conduit Street.
