Soprano Olwyn Barber, who celebrates 70 years as a member of a church choir, was invited to officially open its spring fair on Saturday.
Mrs Barber, 82, of Gaywood, believed to be one of the country’s longest-serving members of the same church choir, cut a ribbon to St Faith’s Church fair at Gaywood (pictured).
She joined the choir aged 12 and is still a member.
St Faith’s Rector, the Rev Julie Boyd said her long service was a remarkable achievement which will be celebrated at a songs of praise service at the church on April 30 at 9.45am.
The fair raised £854 for church funds.
