Lucky Springador Oscar is back at home after a second operation to heal a ripped stomach after he was impaled on fence spikes.

The one-year old black and tan spaniel-golden retriever cross breed, was badly injured after getting hung up on the spikes while out on walkies with owner Natasha Selkirk near their home in Harpley.

He completed a lengthy op after dog lovers from around the country chipped in cash online.

That continued last Friday when he was operated on again at Vets for Pets in King’s Lynn.

Miss Selkirk said: “The  money is still coming in and auctions for Oscar are still going. I can’t thank people enough. Oscar is getting better and wants to go out.”
