TRIATHLON: King’s Lynn Triathlon Club members dusted off their bikes to start the season with duathlons, which is a run, bike, run format.
Leading the way was Geraldine Jordan, who came second in her age group at the 5km/20km/5km Anglian Water Duathlon near Kimbolton.
She missed out on an age group win by a matter of seconds.
Paul Terreros and Emma Thompson enjoyed a cold and windy 5km/25km/5km Ely Monster Duathlon, completing it in 1hr40 (36th male) and 1hr47 (10th female).”
Further afield and competing over an incredible distance, 61-year-old Pat Cooke-Rogers completed her second Yukon Arctic Challenge.
The 430-mile cycle event saw her cycle across snowy Canadian mountains, carrying all her equipment.
