Congham Hall hotel is set to grow if planning permission is granted for extra rooms including new spa treatment rooms.

A planning application has been submitted for extensions and alterations, including new buildings and structures for short-term holiday accommodation, new spa treatment rooms, gym and administration uses, access alterations and associated infrastructure and works.

The existing hotel currently  has 26 rooms and this would increase to 33, with an additional 11 self-catering parkland cabins if planning permission is granted.  The application also outlines plans for extensions to the pool building, including a new cafe and garden room which would provide a “striking” new entrance to the hotel.

West Norfolk Council is expected to make a decision on the application by the end of May.
