FOUR more groups will go head-to-head this weekend in this year’s Battle of the Bands competition.
Heat four gets under way at Watlington Sports and Social Club at 8pm tomorrow.
Organiser Triston Finnis, of Twisted Melon Promotions said: “This looks to be the most diverse heat of this year’s competition.
“From reggae, funk to post-hardcore punk, this heat will have something for everyone.
“The people I don’t envy are the judges having to pick a winner from such varied genres.”
Competing tomorrow will be Norwich four-piece Mammal Not Fish, who reached the final of last year’s battle.
The group blends indie rock with undertones of funk and reggae and will be fighting to go one better and win this year’s competition.
Giving them a run for their money will be high energy rock group Sabertooth Timmy, post-hardcore punk band Shock Hazard and In My Disguise from Suffolk.
The overall winners of the competition and the runners-up will get the chance to perform at this summer’s Festival Too in King’s Lynn.
Tomorrow’s heat is free to attend and everyone is welcome.
