GOLF: Members at King’s Lynn Golf Club can now hone their skills in all weathers.

Representatives of the Castle Rising club were joined by sponsors for the opening of a new, covered driving range.

Club spokesman Jeremy Allen said; “This area now allows for members, both old and new to the club, to practice their skills in the all-weather, multi-bay facility.”

There is also a large indoor and outdoor teaching area, where club professional James Weight can coach players on their irons, woods and drivers.

He can also fine-tune their putting skills on the covered putting area too.

The club pro is available to help people who are new to golf, players with experience and for juniors too. He can be contacted on 01553 631655 for booking information and rates.

The club thanked Adrian Flux Insurance as a major sponsor, for continued support for the club and the new driving range covers and range balls.

Listers BMW and Mini have also been a major sponsor and continue to develop a close marketing partnership with the club.

There was also a significant financial donation by the seniors section of the club, towards the cost of the range covers and Howard Medlock, Phil Ringwood and The Norfolk Building Company were thanked for their efforts and construction work.
