West Norfolk felt the effects of Storm Doris yesterday as it swept across the county.
In Walton Highway, a double-decker bus overturned at around 1.25pm. Fifteen passengers were understood to have suffered injuries.
A spokesman for Norfolk police said a number of passengers were on board.
“It’s too early to speculate if it was the wind. But there have been no serious injuries.”
Several trees were blown down, including one at the back of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn (pictured).
At the time of going to press, showmen still hadn’t decided whether to open the Mart last night.
Police were also at Lynn’s train station as lines were down at Downham Market and services were replaced by buses.
