Five bands will take to the stage on Sunday for the third heat of this year’s Battle of the Bands.

This heat will take place at a new venue for the competition, the William Burt Social Club – West Winch at 3pm.

Acts from Norwich and Essex will join bands from Swaffham, Downham Market and Emneth.

Hoping to book a place in the semi-finals will be Green Dolphin, Pretty Ace, Dog Fight,  Unit 10 and Decades.

Three-piece indie rock group Green Dolphin, from Essex, take their influence from a wide range of styles.

Four Frusher sisters from Emneth make up Pretty Ace. On lead guitar is Martine, 17, who is also backing vocalist.

Tyeshia, 16, is lead vocalist and on guitar. Montana, 14, plays bass guitar and Ceira, 13, is the drummer.

The quartet play a large range of genres, as well as their own compositions.

Dog Fight are a young rock and blues duo with Callum Granger  on guitar and vocals and Reuben Cocksedge on drums.

The Swaffham-based pair performs popular rock covers as well as their own material.

Unit 10 are a five-piece Norwich-based covers band playing a wide range of music, while Decades are an acoustic trio from Downham Market.

Although a covers band at the moment, they are looking to write their own material.

Band members are Linda Slater, with father and son, Liam and Lewis McCabe.
