Foster Refrigerator employees raised £700 for three local charities when they took part in a sponsored run in Holland.

The King’s Lynn staff joined colleagues from their dutch sister company Gamko and completed a half marathon or a full marathon.

The money they raised will be split between Nelson’s Journey (a charity for children affected by bereavement in Norfolk), the NSPCC East region and the Breast Care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

Gemma Morley, financial reporting accountant at Foster Refrigerator, said: “I am really proud to have finished it and more importantly to have been part of the team raising money. There are already plans afoot for something even more challenging later this year, so I need to keep my training up.”
