Children dressed-up in a variety of costumes to pack King’s Lynn on Monday for a Halloween spooktacular.
Youngsters of all ages reported to a special headquarters on Baxter’s Plain in the Vancouver Quarter where they collected maps before embarking on a town trail.
They collected stamps from retailers and were rewarded with a goodie bag from the Vancouver Quarter and West Norfolk Council. They were also entered into a prize draw with one lucky child set to win £250 to spend on toys.
Abbie Panks, Vancouver Quartere manager, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who took part in our Halloween event this year, we had lots of very happy children throughout the afternoon, it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces”
“We were delighted by the positive feedback we received from parents, and we hope the children enjoyed collecting the stamps before tucking into their goodie bag packed with sweets.
“I’d like to thank the borough council for teaming-up with us again for this event, and to the wonderful support staff who helped us pack the thousands of goodie bags and supported the event on the day.”
