BATON TWIRLING: Downham Marquettes baton twirlers enjoyed a successful time at a regional competition in Lowestoft.
The West Norfolk team span their magic to pick up 19 top 10 finishes, including three first places, four seconds and a third at the British Baton Twirling Sports Association Region 15 (Norfolk and Suffolk) Open.
In the teams twirl challenge, Downham won the senior diamonds, junior team and senior team and also came second senior team pearls, juvenile team and pom pom group with Grace Meadows-Flint second in the juvenile 2 fancy p&p category.
Podium placings were completed by the juvenile team, who finished third.
