Bemused shoppers stared as pantomime cast members hit the town for this week’s launch of Cinderella.

The ugly sisters were their usual nasty selves while Buttons poked fun and Prince Charming was . . .charmed.

Former EastEnders actor Matt Lapinskas (Anthony Moon), who also appeared in Dancing on Ice, is Prince Charming in the show which opens at the King’s Lynn Corn Exchange on December 9 for the annual panto slot.

He stars alongside the ever-popular dame Ian Marr who is also directing his seventh show in Lynn

“I love coming to King’s Lynn. The audiences are fantastic and this will be our seventh show,” he said.

Scott Cripps returns to the panto as Buttons and is fresh from the West End’s Billy Elliot show.

KL.FM’s ‘Posh Charles’ is also taking part in the show which runs to December 31.

Around 20,000 people see the Lynn panto each year and tickets are already out-selling last year’s number.

The box office is on  01553 674864.
