Members of Hunstanton Round Table have received a good luck message from a TV star for their charity road trip to Scotland.

The team set-off yesterday from the town’s Golden Lion Hotel and are due home on Sunday.

They will cover more than 1,000 miles when they join members countrywide to raise awareness of the Round Table as well as cash for charity.

Actor Blake Harrison, who played the part of Neil Sutherland  in the Channel 4 comedy series, The Inbetweeners, sent a message on Twitter.

It said: “Good luck @Hunstanton RT guys raising money for charity in an Inbetweeners Fiat. Hopefully yours will be in better condition than ours was!”

The themed vehicles taking part in the road trip have been bought for under £250.

This will be the eighth year the Hunny Tablers have taken part in the rally and raised more than £12,000 for local causes,
