Members of St Mary Church at Docking are preparing for the annual Hare Fair.

This will be the fifth year of the event, which will take place  tomorrow in the church and churchyard from 10am to 4pm.

Village rector the Rev Peter Cook explained special stalls will be set-up inside the church between the pews to create a mini market.

Hand-made items for sale will include metalwork, jewellery, wood and glassware.

Lunches will also be served from noon and there will be a barbecue outside.

Youngsters from the joint choirs of the St Mary Federation of Schools (Docking, Sedgeford and Brancaster) will perform at 11.30am.

Wildlife photographer and cameraman Martin Hayward Smith will be a guest.

The fair was named after the Hare family who have been in the village for generations and to signify the number of hares in the local fields.
