The kettles will be boiling at businesses premises, homes and community halls in the next few days in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The charity will stage its major fundraising event on Friday, September 30 in the form of the popular World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

People in West Norfolk will be supporting the fundraiser in a variety of ways and over a number of days.

Tomorrow, September 24:


  • At 35 Gidney Drive, 10am to 12.30pm.

Monday, September 26:


  • At the library, 10am to 1pm cakes and refreshments.

Tuesday, September 27:

King’s Lynn:

  • West Norfolk Pop-in Centre, London Road Methodist Church, 10am to noon cakes, coffee, raffle and the chance to join in other activities at the centre.

Thursday, September 29: 


  • At the library, 10am to 1pm, cakes and coffee.


  • Village Hall the management committee monthly coffee morning with proceeds to Macmillan. Cakes and a raffle, 10.30am.
