A thousand runners took part in the event on Sunday, completing a 5km course while being showered with colourful powder.

Money is still coming in, but the charity believes more than £20,000 has been raised.

Emma Taylor, EACH Norfolk community fundraiser, said the event had been a huge success.

“The weather was lovely and there was an electric atmosphere from start to finish, both from all our runners and those who came along to cheer them on. The paint party at the end was a particular highlight.

“I’d like to say a big thank-you to all of our runners and to our volunteers who helped out on the day – we couldn’t have run the event without them,” she added.

“A special thanks must go to the staff from Wilkinson’s in Lynn – who not only entered a team, they volunteered to help run our registration desks and donated all the water for runners. We are so grateful for their support.

“We’ve had such positive feedback from the event we will definitely look to run it again in the future.”
