A new family-run dry cleaning business opened in King’s Lynn this week.

The Dry Cleaning and Laundry Company launched in the High Street on Tuesday.

This is the second shop for Sarah Partridge, who owns Watton Dry Cleaners.

This time Miss Partridge will be joined by her daughter Anne Partridge and daughter-in-law Sara Partridge.

“The Watton shop will still be staying,” said Miss Partridge, who has 15 year’s experience in the industry.

“What attracted me to King’s Lynn was that the family can join in, it’s very exciting.

“And my son Colin, who is an engineer, carried out the mechanics. We couldn’t have done it without him and his work colleagues.”

Miss Partridge said the business had already received a positive reaction from people in the town, which has been without a dedicated dry cleaners for more than a year.

The team provides a variety of cleaning services for items such as suits, curtains, wedding dresses, duvets, plus commercial laundry and service washes.

Miss Partridge said there was also a loyalty card scheme.

The shop will be open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, and Saturdays from 8.30am to 1.30pm.
