Tributes have been paid to a young couple killed in a crash this week.
Daniel Eyre, 21, and his 17-year-old girlfriend Katie-Louise Rowland died when a green Mini Cooper left the road and hit a tree at Methwold Hythe.
Police say the crash, in Severalls Road, happened some time between 7pm on Sunday and 7am on Monday and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
In a statement, Katie-Louise’s family described her as a fun-loving, happy girl who lived life to the full.
Paying tribute to her “big smile and even bigger heart,” the family said: “The best sister, daughter, granddaughter and niece that we could ever have wished for.
“Katie will always be remembered for her choice words and mumbling, “there’s never anything to eat in this house” (i.e. no Mars bars or McDonald’s).
“She has left us with a hole that no-one will ever fill. Sleep tight sweetheart. Until we meet again.”
Tribute has also been paid by staff at Lynn’s College of West Anglia.
Course director Sandra Hyde said: “Katie-Louise had successfully passed her health and social care course with us, she loved children and was due to start an apprenticeship in childcare in September.
“Katie-Louise was very bouncy and positive at college. She was thoughtful and quiet but always contributed to the class.”
Mr Eyre was described by his family as “one in a million.”
A statement from his parents, Valerie and David, sisters, Kylie, Charlene and Natasha and grandad, Charlie, said: “He will be missed by many people, never be forgotten and always have a place within our hearts.
“He was a family lad, always so close to his mum, dad, sisters and grandad.
“He was such a handy man and when it came to helping someone he would always be there if we needed him. He loved spending time with close family members and his girlfriend Katie-Louise.
“Fly high baby we love you so much. Words cannot explain how much you mean to us all.”
Officers from Norfolk police have appealed for witnesses to call 101.
