MARTIAL ARTS: A group of adult martial arts students from King’s Lynn’s Kuk Sool Won Traditional Korean Martial Arts School took part in a two-and-a-quarter-hour testing.

Instructors put Jeremy Widdowson, Rebecca Webster, Alison Mallick, Joel Robinson, Jane Haskins, James Mattless, Michael Landeryou, Nadine Widdowson, Inga Balasa and Justine Cullum.

They were tested on their kicking ability, falling skills, self-defence techniques and traditional empty hand forms and all passed their next belt.

Kuk Sool Won comprises of lots of different aspects of traditional Korean martial arts from three main areas Sah-Doh Mu Sool (family/tribal martial arts), Bool-Kyo Mu Sool (Buddhist martial arts) and Koong-Joong Mu Sool (royal court martial arts).

The Lynn school teaches from ages four to adult.
