Boughton CC have been awarded £200 towards equipment after being selected at random from more than 200 clubs who have joined the West Norfolk Directory of Sport.
Club chairman Steve Short said: “Boughton is a lively and developing cricket club, attracting youngsters and returning older players alike to its picturesque setting on the edge of the village.”
The club plays friendly, social cricket on weekends throughout the summer months and 2016 fixtures include Sunday matches against Castle Rising and Gooderstone.

Alive Leisure are updating their database of local sports clubs and activity groups in the King’s Lynn & West Norfolk area. The charitable trust, which delivers leisure and sports development services on behalf of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk has received more than 200 applications so far but have extended the deadline for entries to today.
