There will be cycling fun for all ages at Lynnsport next Saturday.

CYCLING: King’s Lynn will be coming alive to cycling next Saturday, April 23, with a celebration of two wheels.

The West Norfolk Sports Council and Alive Leisure Sports Development are hosting a fun and informative cycle event at Lynnsport.

The centre’s track and Sports Barn will host a series of events from 10am until 4pm with members of many of the cycling clubs from around West Norfolk, as well as British Cycling, local cycle shops and the borough council road safety team in attendance.

The event will suit keen cyclists wanting to meet like-minded people, those returning to cycling after a long break, or even complete beginners with something for everyone!

There will be plenty of opportunities to join in, with two rides around Lynn with the Bike Users Group (BUG) at 12.30pm and 2.30pm, freestyle BMX in The Shed and fun activities with Go Ride, for adults and children, on the track (or in the Barn if wet) – with prizes.

Those attending will be able to learn about bike maintenance, the best way to keep a bike secure, safety on the roads, as well as a chance to try out different cycles from local suppliers.

Clubs and organisations involved at the event include: Go Ride, Cyclists’ Touring Club, King’s Lynn Mountain Bike Club, Sandringham and West Norfolk Cycle Club, King’s Lynn Cycle Club, BUG, Cycle Together Sandringham, The Samaritans bike ride and the Alive Shed Skatepark at Lynnsport.
