South West Norfolk MP Elizabeth Truss will be presented with a petition from Upwell on December 10.

Campaigners are aiming to slow-down the stream of heavy goods vehicles which, they claim, are damaging property due to the vibration.

The Rascal group has hired vibration monitors to see how bad the problem is.

Organiser Bob Johns, of Upwell,  said the petition would be presented during a meeting with the MP and highways officials next week.

The petitions are in the post offices in Outwell and Upwell, Tweeds butchers and Joanne’s Pantry, Upwell, along with  Three Holes Stores.
