Two first-half injuries proved too much for an already understrength Denver side as they went out 3-1 at Bridgham United.
Denver fell behind after nine minutes before equalising on the half-hour through an excellent finish from Danny Brooks.
But parity lasted only two minutes before Bridgham went 2-1 up from the penalty spot.
Denver were forced into several positional changes after the break and, despite conceding again after 62 minutes, fought bravely to the end without further reward.
