Go Ride Halloween event

CYCLING: Coaches from King’s Lynn Cycling Club and British Cycling arranged a fun-packed Halloween cycle cross course for nine to 14-year-old children at Lynnsport.

Children enjoyed participating in varying races, which included a time trial, staggered relay, elimination race, scratch race and a slow race, which tested the children’s ability to track stand.

The most exciting race was a Le Mans style race, where the children had to run to their bikes before completing two laps of the course.

Lynn CC president Monica Williamson and vice-chairman Owen Crisp attended to offer support and steward the event and they handed out the prizes.

Overall the children from Go Ride and MTB Club enjoyed their races and are now looking forward to their next event, which is a spot light cycle cross race on Tuesday, November 24, at 6pm.

It will take place on the Lynnsport athletics track.
