Elodie Blackmore, 3, prepares for the Spooktacular.

The Vancouver Quarter shopping centre is using Your Local Paper to say thanks.

Every Friday until the end of the year, the centre will select one person to receive a box of muffins from BB’s – delivered by KL.FM breakfast show host Simon Rowe.

A centre spokesman said names could be put forward for people to receive the muffins. They could be volunteers, a friend who is helpful or anyone who deserved a treat.

Nominations can be made via the website: www.vancouverquarter.com and see the advert on page 35 of today’s Your Local Paper.

Families are also being invited to head into the heart of Lynn on Saturday, October 31 for a Halloween Spooktacular.

West Norfolk Council and the Vancouver Quarter have joined forces to create a special trail around the town.

Between noon and 4pm, children and their parents can register at Halloween HQ on Baxters Plain, near Beales and Costa Coffee, to collect a card to fill with stickers and receive a goodie bag.

Participants will also be entered into a competition to win tickets to Harry Potter World at Warner Bros studio, Watford.
