Two West Norfolk companies are celebrating after achieving awards within their fields.

Downham Market’s CGM Group has received a national award for landscaping work.

And Chalcroft, with offices in King’s Lynn, has been awarded two further ISO accreditations to add to the two it already holds.

The CGM award was made by the British Association of Landscape Industries following a strict judging process.

The company, based at the Bexwell Business Park, had completed soft landscaping works at Hopton Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth.

It follows previous success in the awards in both 2012 and 2014.

“We are very proud to win such a prestigious award. We undertake many  projects across East Anglia and always try to demonstrate a quality service, attention to detail and over delivery for our customers,” said Luke Hamil, director of operations.

Specialist construction company Chalcroft has added ISO 9001 and 14001 to its existing 18001 Health and Safety accreditation.

“Once accreditation has been achieved, it is vital to maintain those same standards throughout our daily processes.

“Our philosophy is that nurturing a culture of quality throughout Chalcroft and our supply chain is crucial, which is why we’re delighted both to achieve new accreditations and receive renew of existing certifications,” said Todd Hallam, quality, environmental, health and safety director.

The company specialises in construction for industries where temperature control and hygiene is business critical.
