Redgate dominated the first half and two good finishes from Ashley Quantrill put them 2-0 ahead.
Some good saves from Dan Stockdale kept out the Sprowston attack until the 86th minute when they pulled one back.

In the league, the Gayton United goal machine rolled on with a second 13-1 win of the season in Division Four, crushing North Walsham Town Reserves. Isaac Bloodworth (4), Joseph Malby (3) and Oliver Parker (2) were among the scorers as the leaders made it 47 goals in just six games.
