Daring acrobats, colourful clowns and roller-skating jugglers are just a few of the acts that have returned to King’s Lynn.

Mr Fips’ Wonder Circus has returned Wednesday for its fourth year and the big top can be found pitched behind the Knight’s Hill Farm Shop on Grimston Road.

This year the show will feature a range of international artists, including hula-hoop expert Jana Roberts, who joined Take That for the aptly named tour, The Circus Live, in 2009.

There will also be fire-eaters, Shetland ponies, dancers, plus a variety of acts to entertain the  whole family.

Ringmaster Jan Erik Brenner, who plays Mr Fips, the clown, said: “We have a visitors who return every year, so we like to keep it the same, but still bring in brand new acts too.”

Mr Brenner said that he had been in the circus industry for 40 years and still liked to entertain families.

“I wanted to re-introduce the magic, the glamour, the romance – which is all about the circus experience.

“We want children to enjoy it and want to come back again.”

The circus will run until Sunday, September 27, before moving on to Denver.

Shows will take place daily except on Monday.
