Fight fans in West Norfolk were treated to a night of boxing at King’s Lynn’s Walks.
West Norfolk boxers were in the ring for the event staged by HGB Promotions and sponsored by Your Local Paper and Heros Fitness.
Around 900 people attended the event on Saturday night when a packed card saw boxers from around the area pit their ringcraft against each other for the night.
The evening saw a spate of wins on points but Lynn’s Lee Schonfelder knocking-out his opponent, Jake Strickson of Peterborough, in the first round.
The youngest boxer of the night, Irvidis Juskys, who trains at Hero’s, fought at welterweight to score his win.
Local fighter Karl Tansley saw his fight end in the third round when it was stopped after he beat opponent Marvin Richards, of Blackpool.
One of the organisers Mel Payne said the night had been a great success.
“It went really well and was the second time we have done a fight night like this. We will be doing another one next year,” he said.
Winners on the night: Irvidas Juskys, Hugh McNaughton, Luke Hillard, George Juby, Sergio Basto, Lee Kirby, Michael Scales, Stue Williams, Calvin Newson, Tommy Gun, Adam Flett, Karl Tansley and Lee Schonfelder. Bouts drawn were those featuring Harry Foster and Louis Faulkner.
