Green and yellow was definitely the colour of the day on Friday when West Norfolk did its bit to help the Wheel Appeal.
Everyone was encouraged to wear green, yellow or both to match the appeal logo and help boost the fundraising.
Staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital were able to wear specially-made stickers for the day, if they paid £1.
The money is still being counted, but staff at The Sandboy, Bawsey, donated their tips for the day; the teams at Paradise Garage, Baco Compak and Charmed Interiors also did their bit while Your Local Paper staff also raised money for the appeal.
So far our readers have raised almost £17,000 to buy new 22 wheelchairs for the hospital. The appeal aims to raise enough for 30 new chairs.
