Players from the Smithdon School Sports Cluster at the Trigolf finals.

SCHOOL SPORT: William Marshall and Dersingham primary schools are celebrating success in the Smithdon Cluster Trigolf finals.

The small and large school winners will represent West Norfolk at the Norfolk School Games on June 29.

Large school finalists were Upwell, Necton, North Wootton with Heacham Junior finishing as runners-up.

Snettisham and Glebe House were the other small school finalists.

  •  Five boys teams and four girls teams competed in the cluster cycling finals at KES Academy.

Each team completed a zigzag and slalom time trial followed by a team endurance relay.

South Wootton won the boys section ahead of Docking A with teams from Holly Meadows, North Wootton and Docking B also taking part.

Holly Meadows were the girls winners with South Wootton the runners-up. North Wootton and Docking also competed.

Both winning teams progress to the Norfolk School Games final next Wednesday.

  •  Glebe House hosted the Smithdon Cluster mini tennis tournament for Year 3/4s.

Two teams from Redgate and two from Glebe House played doubles matches and a play-off was needed for Glebe House to claim the top spot.

Both schools progress to the SSP finals at KES CTC, which take place today.
